If the recorded content is important then duplicate it now. Do not rely on old VHS tapes.

VHS tape film can shrink, become brittle and dry, decompose, overheat.... all due to regular use and storage techniques.

So unless you are storing your VHS tapes in a basement with a humidifier then we suggest you get them transferred to DVD.
